I’m excited to welcome students, parents and educators back for another year of the Junior Senator Reading Challenge!

Reading opens doors to new ideas and adventures. Whether it’s exploring a favorite story, learning about the world around us, or discovering a new interest, every book read helps build valuable skills and confidence. 

I know firsthand the impact a reading challenge can have. As a student, participating in a program like this sparked my love of books and learning. My hope is that this challenge inspires today’s students to pick up a book, discover something new, and build habits that will benefit them for years to come. 

Thank you to the parents, teachers, librarians and school leaders who encourage reading every day. Together, we can help Oklahoma students develop a lifelong passion for learning.
